The power fitness training in professional women volleyball and its impact on health of the players

Title: The power fitness training in professional women volleyball and its impact on health of the players Objectives: Main target of this paper is to evaluate injuries which occur to the volleyball players of the Czech First volleyball league and their connection with the power fitness training which is regularly practiced by these players. Methods: For detection of the most common medical issues and parameters of the power fitness training of the players of the Czech First volleyball league has been used method of survey. Correlative-predictive method has been used for studying possible connections between medical issues and power fitness training. Results: The most typical injuries among Czech volleyball players are located in the area of hock joint. An occurrence of the medical issues with non-traumatic character is usually located in the area of shoulder and knee joints. Above mentioned medical issues connected with training at the gym shows that there is a deficit in certain parameters of the power fitness training. This deficit mainly refers to insufficient individualization of training, insufficient supervision of technical performance of exercises and ignoring pain during power fitness training. The most common health problems for mountain bikers

Title: The most common health problems for mountain bikers. Objectives: Uncover the most common localities of health problems of mountain bikers. Find the differences in selected localities of health problems of men and women. Methods: Data were collected using questionnaires with nine questions. Data was been collected after the race mountain bikes for 50 km. The most important monitored parameters were sex and location difficulties. Results: 57 male and 33 female randomly selected recreational cyclists responded to questionnaire. The most common anatomical sites for overuse injury/complaints reported by the male and female cyclists combined were the neck (22,23 %), followed by back (14,44 %), small of the back (13,33 %) and without difficulty (10,8 %). Significant differences were observed between male and female site selection problems. List of health problems in women: neck, knees, back, smal of the back. Title: Evaluation of the most common injuries and health problems of professional table tennis players Objectives: The main aim of this work is to evaluate the most common injuries and health problems of professional table tennis players in the Czech Republic. Another goal is to determine the level of use of regenerative procedures and compensatory exercises within the training plan of athletes. Methods: The main method used in this thesis was a quantitative research by data analysis from non-standardized questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed among professional table tennis players who participated actively in the district, regional, league or extra league competition in the Czech Republic or abroad in the 2018/2019 season. A total of 374 questionnaires were processed and evaluated, which corresponds to 62,33 % of the total number of sent questionnaires. Results: Of the 374 table tennis players, 240 were injured (197 men, 43 women), which corresponds to 64,17% of the interviewed players. A total of 361 injuries were recorded. The research confirmed four out of six hypotheses. Assessment of motor skills in children with Down syndrome using MABC-2 test

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of children with Down syndrome. Down syndrome is the most common genetic disorder with trisomy 21st chromosome with typical overal psychomotoric delay. The thesis is focused on the specific difficultes of children with Down syndrome, with emphasis on motor skills. Children with Down syndrome are examined by standard motion test Movement Assessment Battery for Children, 2nd edition (MABC-2). There are a total of 19 children ranging in age 3-14 years. The control group of children is chosen in similar age group, a total of 20 children. Simultaneously at work is compared a parameter of achievement independent walking. This milestone is very often assessed and used in children with Down syndrome. The results show that children with Down syndrome in comparison with healthy peers did not achieve the similar level of motor skills. ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis deals with the eating habits of women aged 40 and 60 years in the Karlovy Vary region. These eating habits are put in relation to the subject group's current feelings about existing health problems. The theoretical part aims to describe the basics of health food in relation both to the women in the chosen age groups and to the most frequent health problems. Additionally, preventive measures of health problems are stated in terms of health food, eating habits and movement activities. In the practical part, a questionnaire survey and its results are presented. The questionnaire was designed in order to chart the eating habits and health problems of randomly chosen women aged 40 to 60 years. Subsequently, the analytical part aims to provide the possible relation between eating habits and health problems within the respondents. As a follow-up to the results of the questionnaire analysis, suggestions leading to improved health awareness are made. Relation between worker´s performance and psychosomatic difficulties

Department of Practical Theology, Supervisor PsLic. Jan Vyhnálek The thesis in focuses to psychosomatic symptoms of two choosen respondents it´s research. I choose two respondents, who work in social sector and who suffer by psychosomatic symptoms for a long time. It was a qualitative research. I performed two case works. I used content analysis as a research method. I created theoretical chapters in a reference to the theme and also to provide theoretical basis for symptoms mentioned in my case works to the reader. First target of my thesis was to describe psychosomatic symptoms and health problems of my respondents. The second target was to describe causes of psychosomatic symptoms how respondents see it according to them selves. The third and last target was to find out, if respondents think, that the main source of their psychosomatic symptoms was their privat and family life, or if it was the social work´s performance.
